MOSCOW, August 13. /TASS/. Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) officers have detained a Crimean resident who was passing information to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) about air defense operations and military units on the peninsula, as well as planning terrorist attacks against railway infrastructure facilities, the FSB Public Relations Center reported.

Detention

- An agent of the Ukrainian special services who was passing on information about military facilities on the peninsula was detained in Crimea, the FSB Public Relations Center reported.

- According to the FSB, a 55-year-old resident of the Bakhchisaray district used the WhatsApp messenger app (owned by Meta, a company recognized as extremist and banned in Russia) to send information to an SBU representative regarding the deployment of military units, military equipment, and the location of air defense systems.
