Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS, has taken charge as Chief Vigilance Officer of Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL).A media statement said the competent authority of the Government of India approved the appointment of Shri Mohammed Ali Shihab A, IAS (Nagaland Cadre, 2011), as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of MRPL under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.An officer of the 2011 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Shihab brings with him rich administrative experience and extensive exposure to public governance. He has served in key leadership roles across the State Secretariat and District Administration, as well as in multiple flagship development sectors of the Government of Nagaland, the statement said.Published on August 13, 2026
