Canada is among the leaders in terms of both the quality and quantity of sanctions decisions it is working on.
Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasiuk said this during a television broadcast in response to a question about ongoing negotiations with Canada regarding sanctions, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.
"Over the past year, the Canadians have really been outstanding when it comes to the sanctions decisions they have made. Along with the British, they have actually been leaders over the past year in terms of the number and, most importantly, the quality of the sanctions decisions they are working on. And believe me, these are far from the last sanctions decisions we will see from Canada. Of course, we have a good dialogue," he said.

Vlasiuk explained that many of the measures included in Canada's sanctions are the result of direct negotiations with the Ukrainian authorities, Ukraine identifying priorities, and providing the relevant evidence.
