Over the past three years, Joybound’s beneficial community impacts have grown to more than 440,000

Joybound People & Pets, a leading Bay Area non-profit dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond, has announced the appointment of three new members to its Board of Directors: Carrie Barlow, Bill Carey and David Moore. Each brings critical expertise in community engagement, finance, and strategic growth. These appointments come at a pivotal moment as Joybound prepares to expand access to pet care, pet family support, and crisis services. These appointments reflect the organization’s continued commitment to leading innovation in the animal wellbeing sector while expanding access to critical services that support both people and pets in the community.

“Each of these leaders brings the expertise we need right now as we expand our reach and deepen our impact across the region,” said Joybound’s Board President, Jennifer Hall. “Carrie, Bill, and David bring a unique skill set, a deep love for their community, and a shared passion for the human-animal bond. Their leadership will be instrumental as we grow our impact and pursue new opportunities to serve.”
