Aug. 12 (UPI) -- Peacock released the trailer for The Paper season 2 on Wednesday. The show returns Sept. 9.
In the trailer, Ned (Domhnall Gleeson) reveals he and Mare (Chlesea Frei) are dating. They were the will they/won't they of Season 1.
Ned took over as editor of the Toledo Truth Teller. Season 2 finds the staff investigating a fire death and a tornado. Their goal is to win more journalism awards.
Sabrina Impacciatore, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Tim Key, Ramona Young, Eric Rahill, Tim Key, Duane Shepard Sr. and Oscar Nuñez also return.
