Cologne-based rankingCoach has struck a deal to install its BeyondSEO plugin by default through Extendify, the onboarding platform hosting providers use to set up WordPress sites. The plugin currently has just over 3,000 active installations, and arrives as AI Overviews cut click-through rates on top-ranking pages by 58%.
A German marketing software company has bought its way onto the default WordPress setup. rankingCoach’s BeyondSEO plugin now installs as part of Extendify, the onboarding platform hosting providers use when customers create a site. The plugin currently carries just over 3,000 active installations, according to the WordPress directory.
BeyondSEO is free and works without a rankingCoach account. A built-in Marketing Radar surfaces prompts to upgrade, and one click connects the rest of the company’s paid suite, covering local listings, Google Ads, review management, social scheduling and brand monitoring.
Distribution is the whole point. Extendify sells onboarding software to web hosts and says it reaches millions of site owners, while rankingCoach says it operates across more than 50 countries. Being present before a user goes looking is worth more than being better.
“Partnering with Extendify means BeyondSEO reaches WordPress users at exactly the right moment, when they’re setting up their site and thinking about how to grow,” said Thomas Meierkord, rankingCoach co-founder and chief operating officer.
