K.C. Venugopal calls for withdrawal of FCRA Amendment Bill
Congress MP K.C. Venugopal criticised the proposed FCRA Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha and called for it to be withdrawn or sent to a Joint Parliamentary Committee for detailed scrutiny. He questioned the need for the Bill and alleged that NGOs and minority organisations working in health, education and humanitarian fields were being targeted.
