TL;DR: Starting Aug. 12, the new Tonies x Pokémon collection is open for pre-order at Walmart and tonies.com.

I'm not a parent, but I am an aunt (the cool aunt, ofc), and I'm a big believer in screen-free playtime. The only problem is that it's hard to find a toy that'll hold a kid's attention long enough. (Though Lego is still holding strong in my nephew's toy chest.) The Toniebox, however, is an outlier, and all of the parents at Mashable are impressed.

If you're unfamiliar, Toniebox is basically a "cuddly speaker" that your little ones can interact with by switching out the little figurines on top. It'll sing to them or read to them, and there are no ads (!!!). You also don't have to worry about them wandering off into PG-13 territory, because all of the content is curated based on the little figurine.
