Mufin Green Finance Ltd reported a profit before tax of ₹18.82 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, a 345.6 per cent jump year-on-year (y-o-y) from ₹4.22 crore in Q1 FY26, as its mediclaim financing vertical delivered its strongest quarterly performance to date.The company’s stock touched a 52-week high of ₹139.99 on the NSE on Wednesday before closing at ₹135.40, giving the New Delhi-based NBFC a market capitalisation of approximately ₹2,675 crore.Total AUM rose 69.4 per cent year-on-year to ₹1,599.23 crore as of June 2026, while quarterly disbursements reached ₹449.40 crore. Net interest income grew 64.3 per cent to ₹35.16 crore. Profit after tax came in at ₹14.01 crore against ₹3.14 crore a year earlier.The mediclaim financing vertical, which constitutes 42 per cent of total AUM at ₹676.61 crore, disbursed ₹247.08 crore across 48,214 loans in the quarter, up 56.2 per cent and 48.4 per cent respectively year-on-year. June 2026 was the strongest month, with 17,638 loans disbursed. The Salary Saathi vertical, which offers payroll-linked loans to government employees, disbursed ₹38.20 crore, up 38.4 per cent quarter-on-quarter, led by a sharp ramp-up in Assam following its March 2026 launch.The company’s cost of borrowings declined to 11.17 per cent in Q1 FY27 from 12.79 per cent in Q2 FY26, as it added Union Bank of India and Wint Wealth as lenders, bringing its total lender count to over 35. Total borrowings stood at ₹1,550.99 crore.Headcount fell to 367 from 499 a year ago, while cumulative disbursements rose to ₹2,217 crore, reflecting sharply improved operating leverage. The company holds a Capital to Risk Assets Ratio of 30.55 per cent against a regulatory minimum of 15 per cent.
