Ethan Miller / Getty ImagesBy The Athletic StaffAug. 12, 2026 10:14 am EDT Updated The NBA continued its 2026-27 schedule rollout Wednesday by revealing additional games scheduled to air on Prime Video.The first night of NBA Cup group play, Oct. 30, will feature the New York Knicks facing the Philadelphia 76ers at 7:30 p.m. Eastern, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers facing the Golden State Warriors at 10 p.m. The Knicks and 76ers are also scheduled to play each other on opening night, Oct. 20.The league will reveal the entire NBA Cup group-play schedule at 11 a.m. Eastern. Those games will all take place on “Cup Nights” from Oct. 30 to Nov. 27, with the title game scheduled for Dec. 11 at Butler University’s Hinkle Fieldhouse. This year’s in-season tournament will be the first to have its championship not played at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.Groups for the in-season tournament were announced in June:

East Group A: Detroit, Toronto, Orlando, Milwaukee, Brooklyn

East Group B: New York, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Miami, Indiana

East Group C: Boston, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Washington
