MANILA, Philippines — Former Public Works chief Manuel Bonoan on Wednesday said it was former Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) who submitted to him the list of priority projects of Senators Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go and Robin “Robin” Padilla.

Bonoan made the revelation before the Sandiganbayan Third Division as a prosecution witness against former Senator Bong Revilla.

Revilla is out on a P1 million bail for a malversation case as an alleged co-conspirator to a ghost project in Bulacan’s Pandi town worth P92.8 million.

The former senator was allegedly involved in a purported exchange of a 25-percent kickback, an accusation he repeatedly denied.
