Solen Software Group Enters Latin America With New São Paulo Office

The permanent-capital firm opens its first Latin American office, extending merger-and-acquisition sourcing and due diligence to founder-built software businesses across Brazil and the wider region.

Solen Software Group, a permanent-capital operator of mission-critical software businesses, today announced the opening of a new office in São Paulo, its first in Latin America. The office will serve as a regional hub for merger-and-acquisition sourcing, due diligence, and relationship-building with founders across Brazil and the broader region, extending a footprint that already spans the United States, Canada, and Europe.

The new office gives Solen a permanent, in-region presence in South America for the first time. It expands the firm's reach into new founder ecosystems and mission-critical software markets across Latin America, and it reinforces a model built on long-term ownership rather than a short-term stepping stone. Solen operates on a framework it calls buy, build, stay: bring a founder-built company into a permanent home, invest in it for decades, and keep the team and product where they started.

The São Paulo team will lead sourcing, due diligence, and relationship-building with founders, owners, and intermediaries across the region, working alongside Solen's existing merger-and-acquisition function in the United States. Members of the team live and work in Brazil, and several leaders across Solen speak Portuguese, giving founders a partner that understands the market from the inside rather than at a distance.
