Google Gemini Hits 1 Billion Monthly Users, Closing the Gap With ChatGPT— Sundar Pichai Calls it 'Fastest

Alphabet Inc.'s (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL) Google's artificial intelligence assistant, Gemini, has achieved a significant milestone of 1 billion monthly active users, the company announced on Tuesday.

According to Google's data, 63% of Gemini users prefer voice interaction to typing prompts.

The company also noted that busy parents are 43% more likely to use voice commands for everyday tasks.

Google's report also highlighted that one in five interactions with Gemini involves screen sharing and live camera feeds.

Over 100 million of Gemini's monthly active users are Apple Inc.
