Over 80 flights were cancelled yesterday, with airlines losing about N1.8 billion, as National Union of Air Transport Employees (NUATE) and Air Transport Service Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN) picketed the operations of Nigeria’s leading carrier, Air Peace, at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja.
