ABUJA — THE Federal Government on Tuesday said it has intensified efforts to end incessant clashes between farmers and herders, with plans to rehabilitate grazing reserves and establish modern ranching settlements in six areas identified as major conflict flashpoints.
The Minister of Livestock Development, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, disclosed this while briefing State House correspondents after meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the presidential Villa, Abuja.
The meeting he explained was centered on the activities of the ministry and implementation of the National Ranching Policy.
