Manappuram Finance Ltd has reported a 341.40 per cent year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated net profit after tax to ₹585 crore. In the year-ago quarter, net profit stood at ₹132 crore.Assets under management (AUM) grew by 57.20 per cent to ₹69,635 crore during the quarter under review. In the June quarter, the company’s gold loan AUM reached ₹57,006 crore, registering year -on-year growth of 97.9%.Non-gold loan businesses accounted for 18.14 per cent of the total AUM. Asirvad Microfinance reported a profit of ₹21 crore during the quarter.The NBFC’s income from operations grew 34.1 per cent YoY to ₹3,033 crore in the quarter, compared with ₹2,262 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year (Q1 FY26). Net Interest Income stood at ₹1,759 crore in Q1 FY27, registering 25 per cent YoY growth compared with ₹1,407 crore in Q1 FY26.VP Nandakumar, Chairman and Managing Director, Manappuram Finance Ltd, said: “Volatility in gold prices was a serious concern that affected overall business sentiment. However, Manappuram Finance delivered remarkable growth during the quarter under consideration, driven by operational efficiency, cost reduction, digitalisation and expansion into newer markets.
