Larsen & Toubro (L&T) on Tuesday said it plans to transfer it data centre and cloud-services business to Vyoma.AI, a sovereign AI cloud platform, for ₹1,400 crore, and divest all stakes via its subsidiary for ₹30 crore.“The company, Vyoma and L&T Network Services Pvt Ltd (LTNSPL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the company, have today executed a Share Purchase Agreement (SPA), pursuant to which, 100 per cent of the equity held by the company in LTNSPL would be divested to Vyoma, for a consideration of ₹30 crore, subject to closing adjustments, to be discharged by issue of fully paid equity shares of Vyoma,” said L&T in an exchange filing.Once the transfer concludes on or before October 31, LTNSPL would become a direct wholly owned subsidiary of Vyoma and an indirect subsidiary of L&T.The company’s data-centre business reported an operating revenue of ₹36.6 crore in FY26, contributing 0.025 per cent of L&T’s total revenue. The total net worth stands at ₹1,142 crore, providing 1.6 per cent of L&T’s total net worth. In comparison, LTNSPL reported ₹1.86 crore in turnover and has a net worth of ₹18.31 crore.“An amount of ₹30 crore shall be discharged by Vyoma.AI through issuance and allotment of fully paid up equity shares of face value of ₹100 each to the company upon completion of the transaction, subject to closing adjustments,” as per the exchange filing.Published on August 11, 2026
