The Lagos State Government has received Dazzle Football Club following the team’s impressive performance at the 2026 Dana Cup in Denmark, where it won gold in the U-12 category and silver in the U-14 category.
The team was received on Tuesday at the Lagos State Sports Commission’s office at the Teslim Balogun Stadium by the Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Mobolaji Ogunlende, and the Director-General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Lekan Fatodu.
Dazzle FC made an impressive debut at the Dana Cup in Hjørring, Denmark, with the U-12 team winning its category, while the U-14 side finished as runners-up. Toheeb Ojerinde of the U-14 team was also named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.
Congratulating the players and technical crew, Fatodu commended the team for its performance on the international stage, saying its achievement had brought pride to the state and the country.
