Two players from Nigeria Women’s League side, Dream Star Ladies F.C., Sanni Aishat and Sofiat Razaq, have been selected to represent Nigeria at the LALIGA and EA SPORTS Football Development Programme in Madrid, Spain.
The duo earned their spots following the conclusion of the LALIGA EA NEXT Gen Draft in Nigeria, a grassroots football initiative organised by LALIGA and EA Sports in partnership with Legacy Sports, the Nationwide League One and the Lagos State Football Association.
Only eight Nigerian players were selected for the international programme, comprising four boys and four girls, with Dream Star Ladies producing two of the female players chosen.
The programme is designed to discover and develop young football talents across five countries — Nigeria, Morocco, Mexico, China and Japan. Related News Buruj Sports Academy unveils stadium project Port Harcourt to host 2026 NWFL Super Six Ilechukwu to decide Rangers future after Unity Cup
