A Dublin bus has caught fire at a junction near Donnybrook, south Dublin. Emergency services are at the scene.The E1 bus is stopped on the R138 Morehampton Road at the junction with Appian Way in a northbound lane. Several units from Dublin Fire Brigade are at the scene.Smoke from the bus has disrupted traffic on several roads in the area.No injuries have been reported. A passenger on board the bus told The Irish Times they heard a “loud noise” before they were asked to alight.In a notice to customers, Dublin Bus said that “due to an incident, Morehampton Street is closed” and that E1 and E2 buses travelling both northbound and southbound would be diverted.Buses heading into the city will divert down Waterloo Road and Baggot Street before turning on to Pembroke Street Upper and back on to their normal routes.Southbound buses will follow the same diversion in reverse.
