MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Loren Legarda extended her medical leave request to August 11 to 12, Senate Secretary Renato Bantug confirmed on Tuesday.
“[Sen. Loren Legarda’s] office wrote me today to inform me that “Senator Legarda will be on medical leave from 11 to 12 August 2026,” Bantug told the Inquirer.
Legarda previously filed a medical leave to the Senate from August 3 to 5, coinciding with the fifth week of the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.
