MANILA, Philippines — Police cleared an office building in Barangay Ayala Alabang in Muntinlupa City on Monday afternoon, Aug. 10, after a tenant received an email warning that explosives had been planted inside the premises.
The Muntinlupa City Police Station’s Station Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (Secu) searched the affected area and found no explosives or hazardous materials, according to the Philippine National Police (PNP) Southern Police District.
At around 2:29 p.m., the administrator of a tenant firm on the fourth floor of the Park Trade Center along Investment Drive received the bomb threat through email. Building security reported the incident to the Muntinlupa police at 3:27 p.m., prompting Secu personnel to respond.
