Feature requests arrive from everywhere: support tickets, sales calls, a Slack thread, an app store review, an email that opens with "quick idea" and runs to nine paragraphs. Individually each one is useful. Together they turn into a backlog nobody owns, and the same request shows up three times under three different names.

The tools below all solve some version of that problem. They do not solve the same version, which is the part most comparison posts get wrong. Two are product management platforms that happen to include feedback, one is a support platform that grew into feedback, and a couple are focused feedback boards. Picking between them is mostly a question of which problem you actually have.
