Dr Dawn Branley-Bell is an Associate Professor of Cyberpsychology specialising in Digital Health and Wellbeing. She directs the Psychology and Communication Technology Lab (PaCT Lab, www.pactlab.co.uk) at Northumbria University - and leads the Research into Health Technologies for Eating Distress research group (RHED, www.rhed-research.uk).
She is a Chartered Psychologist and Past Chair of the British Psychological Society (BPS) Cyberpsychology Section. Dr Branley-Bell's research interests include remote healthcare support and the impacts of social media, particularly for eating disorders and body image. Her other research explores wider mental health concerns, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.
