YSR Congress Party’s (YSRCP) State secretary and Palasa in-charge Yenni Dhanunjaya Rao on Monday urged the State government to order a high-level probe into alleged irregularities in DSC recruitment.Along with YSRCP local leaders, he organised a massive protest in Palasa of Srikakulam district, seeking a probe over the teachers’ recruitment done by the N. Chandrababu Naidu government.“The government has not disclosed merit list. It has ignored reservation policy. There are many ineligible persons got teachers’ jobs under sports quota. All these factors raised many doubts among the candidates across the State. Avinash, a candidate of Krishna district got the highest marks but he was not given the job. Thousands of students like Avinash failed to get jobs due to lack of transparency in the recruitment process,” Mr. Rao said.He said that he would submit a detailed report about the candidates’ issues to the former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in a couple of days. Published - August 10, 2026 09:37 pm IST
