Global AI has secured $441 million in debt financing from JPMorgan Chase, a move designed to accelerate the company’s expansion of AI data centers across the US.

Global AI positions itself as the world’s first “Sovereign AI Hyperscaler.” The company focuses on air-gapped GPU data centers, meaning facilities that are physically isolated from external networks for security purposes, built to handle high-performance computing workloads using NVIDIA technology.

The land grab behind the GPU race

The company recently acquired 438 acres near Windsor, Colorado, paying $15.6 million for the property as part of its US expansion strategy.

NVIDIA has participated in earlier funding efforts for Global AI, which makes strategic sense given that the data centers are designed specifically around NVIDIA’s GPU architecture.
