Mumbai-headquartered Lilavati Hospital is set to expand its international footprint with a super-speciality OPD (outpatient department) facility in Kazakhstan from early September 2026, it said.The Trust-run hospital has already forayed into Mauritius, besides expanding locally into Gujarat. The Kazakhstan initiative is the first Lilavati healthcare facility outside India to become operational, the hospital group said, adding that it would bring Lilavati Hospital’s specialist consultations, second opinions, advanced treatment planning and medical expertise closer to patients in Central Asia.The centre will offer super-speciality services across Oncology, Liver and Hepatobiliary, Kidney and Transplantation, Cardiac Sciences, Neurology and Neurosurgery, IVF and Reproductive Medicine, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Endocrinology and Diabetes, Paediatrics and Pulmonology, a note from the hospital said. Complex cases requiring advanced treatment and surgery will be connected with Lilavati Hospital Mumbai, it added.With over three decades of healthcare experience, Lilavati Hospital’s clinical expertise includes about 375 consultants and specialists in more than 40 medical and surgical specialities, it said. The hospital is pursuing its international expansion with a focus on building a healthcare ecosystem, especially in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and beyond, under Charuben Mehta, Founder, Permanent Trustee for Life and Chairperson, Lilavati Hospital, the note said.Ravindra Karanjekar, Chief Executive Officer of Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, said the Kazakhstan expansion would help build a “sustainable India–Kazakhstan healthcare ecosystem through specialist consultations, telemedicine, medical education and doctor-to-doctor collaboration. For complex cases, patients will have a structured pathway to access advanced care at Lilavati Hospital Mumbai.
