Major General Ali Abdollahi, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated in response to Mohsen Rezaei’s appointment as Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) and as Mojtaba Khamenei’s representative to the council that his presence could revolutionize coordination between “the battlefield and diplomacy.”

In a message addressed to Mohsen Rezaei, Abdollahi wrote that his presence on the Supreme National Security Council could transform “strategic coordination between the battlefield and diplomacy, as well as economic and political security” through what he termed a “resistance approach and inspiring governance.”

The commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters highlighted Rezaei’s track record, including his command of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), his founding of the IRGC Intelligence Organization, his tenure on the Expediency Discernment Council, and his role in economic policymaking.

Abdollahi also characterized Iran’s current situation as a “hybrid imposed war and comprehensive American-Zionist threats.”

He concluded by stating that the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters and the General Staff of the Armed Forces stand fully prepared for any cooperation within the framework of the Supreme National Security Council’s missions and for carrying out the mandates of Mojtaba Khamenei.
