An insurance amount of ₹50 lakh was provided to Md. Madar, a driver at the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC) Korutla bus depot in Jagtial district, whose right leg was amputated following a road accident in Siddipet district last October.TGSRTC vice-chairman and managing director Y. Nagi Reddy handed over a cheque for ₹50 lakh to Madar at Bus Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday.The insurance amount was provided under the Super Salary Account package of Union Bank of India, as part of an agreement between the TGSRTC and the bank, according to a TGSRTC press release.Madar was driving a TGSRTC bus when the accident involving a lorry occurred at Kukunoorpalli in Siddipet district on October 9 last year. He sustained severe injuries, resulting in the amputation of his right leg.TGSRTC executive directors Ch. Venkanna and K.
