The Department of State Services (DSS), in collaboration with the Anambra government, on Saturday held a road show against terrorism in the state.
The rally, which had no fewer than 300 people, took off from the DSS State Headquarters in Amawbia through Zik’s Avenue and terminated at Anambra Tower near the new Government House.
The solidarity march was led by Chucks Anukposi, the Director of DSS in Anambra and his top management team.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the theme was “Unite Against Terror”.
Speaking at the event, Law Mefor, the Commissioner for Information and Value Reorientation in Anambra, who led the government team, said it was a demonstration of the people’s unity against terrorism of all sorts.
