BEIJING -- Several Chinese listed companies have reported receiving US tariff refunds and interest since early July, as the United States moves to return duties imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA).

Guizhou Tyre Co Ltd said on Aug 7 that its overseas wholly owned subsidiary had received a total of $11.98 million in tariff refunds and interest from US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

On July 8, Zhejiang Huahai Pharmaceutical Co Ltd said it had received a total of $14.23 million in tariff refunds, which were expected to affect its 2026 net profit by about 96.87 million yuan based on the yuan's central parity rate that day. On the same day, Hitevision Co Ltd said its subsidiary had received $4.07 million in tariff refunds.

Canature Health Technology Group Co Ltd said on July 13 that it had received $4.55 million in tariff refunds, including interest.

On July 28, WINBO-Dongjian Automotive Technology Co Ltd said it and its wholly owned subsidiary had received $3.39 million in tariff refunds and interest.
