Tesla’s “Project Crystal Sun” Solar Factory
Tesla is reportedly planning a giant solar cell factory in Texas. The factory, named “Project Crystal Sun” within Tesla at the moment, is expected to require a $10.1 billion investment — ~$1.5 billion for “real property” and ~$8.6 billion in “personal property.” See some of the documents below prepared for Tesla by Kroll Tax Services.
The project would be located about 40 minutes from Houston, near Richmond, Texas.
