According to Sky News, the syndicate is being led by British-Indian millionaire Amit Bhatia, the former co-owner of Queens Park Rangers, and also includes Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin. Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group confirmed last month that they had been approached regarding a strategic minority investment, with an official announcement expected in the coming days.
