LUCENA CITY – The local government of Bacoor City in Cavite suspended classes at all levels in public and private schools on Tuesday (August 11), due to the continuing inclement weather.
The city government urged residents to prioritize their safety, stay indoors as much as possible, and to continue monitoring official weather and government advisories.

The suspension is consistent with the provisions of Department of Education (DepEd) Order No. 37, series of 2022, which provides for the automatic suspension of classes at all levels, whether face-to-face or online, when the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) issues a tropical cyclone wind signal, an orange or red rainfall warning, or a flood warning.
