Binance is distributing Apple’s $0.27 per-share cash dividend to holders of AAPLB, the exchange’s tokenized representation of Apple stock. The net dividend, after taxes and fees, won’t land in your wallet as cash. Instead, it gets automatically reinvested into additional AAPLB tokens.

How the dividend works

The record date for eligibility is August 10, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. If you held AAPLB tokens in your Spot Wallet before that cutoff, you qualify.

Rather than depositing a fraction of a dollar into each holder’s account, Binance converts the net dividend into more AAPLB tokens. Think of it like a dividend reinvestment plan (DRIP) at a traditional brokerage, except it happens on BNB Smart Chain using BEP-20 tokens and you never had to opt in.

For holders who keep their AAPLB tokens on-chain rather than in a Binance Spot Wallet, the dividend benefit arrives through a multiplier adjustment applied to their tokens. The end result is the same: your position grows slightly without you doing anything.
