A wildfire in the area of the municipality of Niebla in Huelva province, southern Spain, has spread across approximately 8,000 hectares and forced the evacuation of 467 people.

Due to the threat posed by the fire, emergency services evacuated 467 people.
Authorities organized periodic controlled access to the affected settlements so that residents could collect essential belongings and feed their animals.
Of those evacuated, 283 were residents of Berrocal, a town that was at the epicenter of one of the largest wildfires in Spain’s history, which devastated 34,000 hectares in 2004, 22 years ago.
