One person was killed and two others were injured in Russian attacks in the Kherson region during the day.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"According to the investigation, on August 9, the Russian army attacked the Kherson region using tube and rocket artillery, as well as various types of drones. As of 5:30 p.m., it has been confirmed that one person was killed and two others were injured as a result of Russian aggression," the statement said.
At around 05:00, Russian forces shelled the village of Zolota Balka in the Beryslav district with artillery. A 61-year-old woman who was inside her home was killed.
