In the Kherson region, 22 people were injured throughout the day as a result of shelling; the Russian army attacked the region using artillery, mortars, and various types of drones.
According to Ukrinform, this information was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
“According to the investigation, on August 6, 2026, the Russian army attacked the Kherson region using artillery, mortars, and various types of drones. As of 5:30 p.m., 22 people were reported injured as a result of the Russian aggression,” the statement reads.
As noted, the occupiers twice directed FPV drones at buses carrying people during the day: in the morning in Komyshany, seven civilians traveling to work in the fields were injured, and in the afternoon, five passengers on a minibus in Kherson were injured.
Additionally, 10 more civilians were injured in attacks by enemy drones in the regional capital and the village of Ingulets.
