The government is working to secure the updated funding requirements of the Defense Forces through the end of 2026 and to find additional resources, including with the assistance of international partners.
Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi said this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Today, we held a separate meeting with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the Minister of Finance, the acting Minister of Defense, the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service and the Minister of Internal Affairs. We discussed the actual, updated funding needs of the Defense Forces through the end of this year. The government and, directly, the Ministry of Finance are working to fully cover all necessary expenditures," he wrote.

Koretskyi noted that all domestic tax revenues continue to be directed toward the needs of the security and defense sector. He said the government would "work to find additional resources, including by securing assistance from our international partners."
