The enumeration phase of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) crossed 100% digitisation of forms on Sunday.Of the total forms digitised, over 1.76 crore electors have self-mapped, while 2.34 crore have mapped themselves as progeny. Another 33.61 lakh, or 6.06% of voters, remain unmapped, meaning they could not find their own or their family’s names in the 2002 electoral rolls.Meanwhile, between June 16 and August 8, the CEO’s office has received 12.68 lakh forms for inclusion in voter list, requests for deletion and seeking changes. Of these, more than 8.37 lakh are Form 8 applications, which are used for requests such as shifting of residence, correction of entries in the existing electoral roll, replacement of a Voter ID card (EPIC), or marking a person as a person with disability (PwD).
