VUKA Group has warned that xenophobia and discrimination could affect Africa’s ability to attract investment, build partnerships, and grow key sectors such as mining.
The company said that Africa’s economic progress depends on cooperation and trust among countries, businesses, and investors. It added that division and exclusion could slow down efforts to develop opportunities across the continent.
In a statement, VUKA Group said it rejects xenophobia, Afrophobia, violence, intimidation, and all forms of discrimination, noting that these actions weaken trust and make it harder for people and organisations to work together.
The group said that trust is important for businesses to invest, form partnerships, and support economic growth.
“Without trust, there can be no meaningful influence, lasting partnerships, or sustainable growth,” the company said.
