Ukraine's air defense forces neutralized 174 drones and five Banderol loitering munitions used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine from the evening of August 8.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

Starting at 18:00 on August 8, Russian forces attacked the Odesa region with ballistic, anti-ship and anti-radiation missiles, including Iskander-M/S-400, Oniks and Kh-31P missiles, launched from areas in the temporarily occupied Crimea and the Black Sea. They also launched 202 Shahed-type attack drones, including jet-powered ones, as well as Gerbera drones, Parodiya decoy drones and Banderol loitering munitions from Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as temporarily occupied Donetsk and Hvardiiske in Crimea.

The Odesa region was the main target of the attack.
