Russian forces struck Kharkiv's Saltivskyi district this morning, hitting apartment buildings and killing two people and injuring others.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"An enemy strike has been recorded in the Saltivskyi district. According to preliminary information, which is still being verified, the enemy hit an apartment building," he said.
Terekhov later added that a strike on a residential building had been confirmed, with floors seven through ten destroyed.
"There is information about casualties – their number and condition are being clarified," he said.
