On the morning of July 8, the Russian army struck an apartment building in Kharkiv.
According to Ukrinform, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.
“According to preliminary information, the Russian army struck a five-story residential building in the Nemyshlianskyi district,” the message reads.
Shortly thereafter, Syniehubov added that one person had been killed as a result of the strike.
“In the Nemyshlianskyi district, there are currently nine known casualties from the enemy strike. All are receiving medical care. There is also preliminary information about one fatality,” the official said.
