Residents of Iyana Adiyan, Gas Line and Randle areas of Ifo Local Government of Ogun State have appealed to Governor Dapo Abiodun to see to the construction of the road linking the communities, describing it as a death trap.
They also called on the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Solomon Adeola, and that of the Peoples Democratic Party, Oladipupo Adebutu, to include the construction of the road in their plans as they contest the number one seat of the state.
According to the residents, the poor condition of the road has crippled the economy of the area, lamenting that many of them have been injured due to “avoidable crashes.”
Our correspondent also visited the area and observed the terrible condition of the road, which has prevented a smooth ride.
