The United Arab Emirates on Saturday condemned an Iranian attack on a tanker belonging to the country’s state-owned energy giant Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

“The UAE has expressed its condemnation and rejection of the hostile Iranian attack that targeted a tanker belonging to the company ADNOC with a missile during its crossing of the Strait of Hormuz,” a statement by the foreign ministry read.
