CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines — A joint police sweep in the quiet hinterlands of Malaybalay City in Bukidnon province yielded dozens of illegal crops on Thursday afternoon, August 6.
Operatives from the 1st Bukidnon Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and the Malaybalay City Police Station, in coordination with the Provincial Intelligence Unit, uprooted 321 fully grown plants alleged to be marijuana or cannabis.
The illicit crops were discovered during a combat patrol operation in Sitio Talahidan, Barangay Caburacanan around 4:20 p.m. on August 6.
