Springbok Women's loose forward Aseza Hele marked her return to the team with another power-packed performance as the SA side outmuscled the Fijiana XV in Suva.

The Springbok Women’s forwards once again laid the foundation for a commanding victory as a much-changed South Africa side swept the Fijiana XV aside 55-12 in Suva on Saturday.

Having used their power up front to overpower the USA in the opening Test of last month’s series, the Bok Women produced another dominant display from their pack to launch their historic Fiji tour with a nine-try victory.

Five of those tries came from forwards, with South Africa’s scrum, maul and relentless pick-and-drive game proving too much for the hosts at HFC Bank Stadium.

The performance also suggested the Bok Women have addressed the breakdown shortcomings that contributed to their defeat by the USA in Pretoria, with their physicality complemented by a disciplined defensive effort that denied Fiji the momentum they thrive on.
