Suspicious drone flights have been reported over the German town of Mechernich, home to a key Bundeswehr facility where Patriot air defence systems are serviced and repaired.

Details: Mechernich, located in Germany's Eifel region southwest of Bonn, is home to a major Bundeswehr logistics facility: a high-security underground complex, situated around 130 m below ground which stores military equipment and spare parts across 30,000 sq m, making it a critical part of the German armed forces' logistics network.
