An enemy UAV struck the locomotive of the Sumy-Kyiv train.
According to Ukrinform, Ukrainian Railways (Ukrzaliznytsia) reported this on Facebook.
“The enemy has once again criminally attacked civilian transport in the Sumy region. A UAV struck the locomotive of the Sumy-Kyiv train,” the statement reads.
It is noted that the monitoring team detected the threat in time. The train and locomotive crews evacuated passengers to a safe distance, so there were no casualties. One car was damaged.
Ukrzaliznytsia noted that they are currently working to ensure that schedule disruptions on this section are kept to a minimum.
